Basics of Self-Directed Services

Hosted by the Center for Learning and Leadership, UCEDD, and Disability Rights Oklahoma. This session explains what Self‑Directed Services are and how they give families more choice in hiring and managing staff. Participants will learn the difference between agency services and self‑directed services, the role of the Employer of Record, and how Goods and Services can be used to support daily needs and goals. This is a beginner‑friendly introduction for families and anyone wanting a clear understanding of how SDS works in Oklahoma’s waiver programs.
