Regional Training

These regional transition trainings support educators working with secondary students across a range of support needs, including students with mild to moderate disabilities and students with significant support needs who participate in the Oklahoma Alternate Assessment Program (OAAP). The training focuses on using transition assessment results to inform high-quality IEP transition planning through applied learning and case study analysis. Participants will strengthen their ability to analyze assessment data to identify student strengths and needs and use that information to develop meaningful postsecondary goals, annual transition goals, transition services, coordinated activities, and courses of study aligned with each student’s post-school outcomes.
